Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, this program was eliminated in September 2026. We know many of you have relied on the Child Care Health Outreach Program for public health guidance, consultation, and support. We recognize this loss will have impact on your work caring for children and families. It has been an honor for our Public Health Nurse, Environmental Health Specialist, and Behavioral Health Specialist to partner with you over the years. We are deeply grateful for the relationships we've built. We are sad to say goodbye.

The Child Care Health Outreach program was created in 1994. In line with the goals of the Snohomish County Health Department, our mission is to keep children safe and to lead in the promotion of healthy early childhood development through collaborative population-based interventions that support and educate the child care community.
Our team consists of a public health nurse, environmental health specialist, behavioral health specialist, and a nutritionist.
